Q. Can I make a memorial
donation?
A. Yes, you can make a memorial
donation by mail or phone. Please include the
person who will be memorialized and the name
and address of a family member who will
receive an acknowledgement card along with
your name, address and check or credit card
information. You can also donate on-line by
clicking here.
Q. What are the benefits to donating to
charity?
A. In addition to the satisfaction
of knowing that you are helping the Red Cross
to do important work, there are tax benefits
to making significant gifts. For example, when
you make a contribution of appreciated
securities, you are eligible for a tax
deduction and may be able to avoid paying

Q. Does the Red Cross accept
In-Kind Donations?
Donations
of good or services of a specific nature to
aid the work of the Red Cross are greatly
appreciated. From palletized boxes of
food and water for those affected beyond our
community in times of catastrophic
emergencies, to print and production services
for special events, each donation enables the
Red Cross to help those in need while
also greatly reducing administrative costs.

on an ongoing basis and can be accepted,
locally or nationally, in times of major
disasters.
