Volunteers are the heart of the American Red Cross!

The Wyoming Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross recruits and trains volunteers to help deliver services throughout its jurisdiction. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, the Red Cross is the preeminent provider of the life saving services, including disaster preparedness, emergency social services, and health and safety training. Be a hero and get involved!

Steps To Becoming A Volunteer

    1. Choose an opportunity of your interest by viewing our Volunteer Opportunities. If you would like assistance, please contact Wayne Wolfe at 570-823-7161 ext. 324 or via e-mail.
    2. Complete Volunteer Application or Youth Volunteer Application (17 & under).

NOTE: All potential volunteers 18 and over, are required to request a background check before they begin service with the Wyoming Valley Chapter. This is the final step in the volunteer intake process.  More information will be given when all steps have been completed.
